Here is an announcement by the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP). SINP has reopened 500 new applications for International Skilled Worker – Express Entry Subcategory on 5th July 2018. Candidates must first enter into the Federal Express Entry System who are applying under the Saskatchewan Express Entry subcategory.
The applications will be processed in ‘first-come, first served’ basis. So it might happen that the applications intake for SINP could be met in a few hours.
No job offer is required by the candidates for applying to Saskatchewan Express Entry sub-category. A minimum work experience on SINP’s In-Demand Occupations List is required in their respective field of training or study in a skilled occupation (NOC 0, A, or B).
As described in our previous article, the list of occupations in SINP’s In-Demand list has been updated to 33. Out of 33 in-demand updated occupations list, 7 occupations do not require obtaining any specific professional license. Remaining 26 occupations require candidates to obtain professional licensure from relevant organizations designated by the government of Saskatchewan.
The maximum intake that took place in 2 consecutive periods at the beginning of this year on 10th and 13th January was 400. This is the 3rd time in 2018 that SINP has reopened new applications to its Express Entry sub-category for the Express Entry candidates.
Extra 600 points will be awarded to the candidates under Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) who obtained a provincial nomination successfully under the Saskatchewan Express Entry sub-category.
