Canada Immigration News: Quebec reduces application deadline for CSQ to 60 days

The deadline to apply for a CSQ- Quebec Selection Certificate for those candidates who receive an ITA from Quebec Skilled Worker Program has now been reduced to 60 days. This was announced by the Government of Quebec Province on 26th June. 

The latest deadline decreases 30 days from the earlier 90 days deadline. The Federal Government had introduced a similar decrease exactly 1 year back to the Express Entry system. The decreased deadline for application was among the 3 measures announced by the Government of Quebec province.

A similar reduction was introduced exactly one year ago for the federal government’s Express Entry system.

The shortened application deadline was one of three measures announced by the Government of Quebec. 

The government also announced that expression of interests (EOIs) currently in the Quebec skilled workers program’s bank of candidates will remain valid for an extra six months.

The third measure will see the EOIs of candidates who decline an invitation to apply for a Quebec Selection Certificate (Certificate the selection due to Quebec, or CSQ) remains in the bank of candidates for their full validity period.

  • Quebec Experience Class
  • Quebec Investor Program
  • Quebec Entrepreneur Program
  • Quebec Self-Employed Person Program
  • Quebec Skilled Worker Program
