Manitoba issued 592 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to the candidates in the latest Expression of Interest (EOI) Draw for Express Entry Pathway. The invitation is for provincial nomination and it includes even 114 Express Entry candidates. The draw was held on 21st June 2018 and has issued ITAs to candidates in Manitoba’s “Skilled Workers” and “Skilled Workers Overseas Streams.”
The Express Entry candidates will be receiving the ITAs through latter’s Express Entry Pathway which is linked to the Federal Government’s Express Entry System. It manages applications for the three economic immigration categories of the Federal Government, “Federal Skilled Worker Class,” “Federal Skilled Trades Class,” and the “Canadian Experience Class.”
The Express Entry candidates with granted provincial nomination will be getting an extra 600 points towards their CRS score. It will guarantee them an ITA for the Canadian PR in the next very Express Entry Draw.
The Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) from Manitoba in the latest draw held on June 21 were received by only the Express Entry candidates whose scores were 562 or above under the Manitoba’s unique EOI points Structure.
The very first step towards getting a consideration under Manitoba’s Express Entry Pathway is, ‘registering an EOI with the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP),’ and ‘holding a valid Express Entry Profile.’
Eligibility Criteria of Manitoba’s Express Entry Pathway
155 LAAs were issued by Manitoba under Skilled Worker Overseas Stream to the candidates who scored at least 579 and fall under criteria:
- A close relative or friend who has either Manitoba’s residence, or past education, or work experience.
- Recent work experience of at least 6 months in an occupation on the in-demand occupations list of Manitoba.
- A minimum language proficiency of CLB 5.
Manitoba, MPNP invited 115 Skilled Worker Overseas candidates directly, who scored at least 703, under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative.
213 Skilled Workers Candidates were also invited by Manitoba who scored at least 522. The candidates who are fully licensed and are working in a regulated occupation are selected in this draw by MPNP.
