Saskatchewan announced the dates of the coming two Expression of Interest draws for the entrepreneurs who want to immigrate to Saskatchewan. The draws are scheduled for 19th September 2018, and 21st November 2018.
The foreign entrepreneurs, who want to immigrate to Saskatchewan under entrepreneur sub-category, have to register in the online application system of “Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP)” and have to submit their complete Expression of Interest Profile. The applicants have to take an active management role in a business.
Applicants have to give all required information like entrepreneur experience, Business Management Plan (BEP), and assets among other factors while submitting their Expression of Interest profile online. Applicants meeting the minimum eligibility criteria will get the acceptation into the Expression of Interest Pool. They will be ranked according to their sub category’s points grid.
Applicants must have:
- A minimum of CAD $500,000 in Personal assets and Net Business.
- To invest a minimum of CAD $300,000 in Regina and Saskatoon, or a minimum of CAD $200,000 in all the communities of Saskatchewan.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in relevant business management or entrepreneurial experience gained in the last 10 years.
The applicants will get the selection on the basis of their province’ nomination targets, and their ranks said Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program, SINP. Once approved by Saskatchewan, the applicants will be able to apply to the Canadian government for a temporary work permit.
Applicants on fulfilling the terms of their Business Performance Agreement (BPA), and operating their business for a time span of at least 6 months, can apply for a provincial nomination of permanent residence in Saskatchewan.
