The Canadian government issued same 3,750 Invitations to apply (ITAs) to the Express Entry candidates to apply for Canada PR in the latest Express Entry Draw held on 11th July 2018. The minimum cut-off CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) score is 442 or more which is the same as the draw held on 25th June 2018. Even total ITAs number i.e. 3,750 is the same as the two previous consecutive draws held on 13th and 25th June 2018.
13:18:55 UTC, 26th June 2018 was the tie-break date and time used in this draw which means the candidates who scored 442 or above under CRS and submitted their profile before the time and date specified will receive ITA.
The Express Entry System manage the pool of the three primary economic immigration categories of Canada, “the Federal Skilled Trades Class, Federal Skilled Worker Class, and the Canadian Experience Class.”
The draw size increased from 2,750 ITAs to 3,000, 3,500, and now to 3,750 this year.
Note * – The 30th May 2018 draw was program-specific. So it’s lower than the usual draw size.
A total of 7,500 Invitations were issued last month in two consecutive draws which is more than doubled the ITAs 3,409 issued in June 2017.
According to the results of this new Express Entry Draw, IRCC has issued a total of 43,450 ITAs over 14 draws in 2018. Canada has set higher targets for both 2018 and 2019. Draws might be continued to be large in size and frequent in the remaining months of 2018.
