British Columbia issued a total of 351 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for the provincial nomination to the candidates under Express Entry and Skills Immigration BC Streams of BCPNP, British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program. The invitation round took place on 3rd October 2018.
This draw of 3rd Oct resulted in minimum scores ranging from 65 to 91 points based on the categories. Candidates will be assigned points through BC PNP’s Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS) and are awarded based upon human capital and economic factors like education, language abilities, and work experience. Candidates will be awarded a maximum of 200 points to the candidates under SIRS.
The portion of the candidates applying for the Skilled Immigration Stream Categories under British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program will have their applications processed outside of the Express Entry System.
Candidates will receive an additional 600 points under the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score if they obtain a successful nomination under BCPNP’s Express Entry BC Categories. Candidates whose nominations will get approved will get the first preference for ITA for Canada PR in a subsequent Federal Express Entry Draw.
Generally, the candidates who are interested to apply under BCPNP must hold a full-time job offer from the Province’s employer.
The primary goal of BCPNP was to attract and retain the international graduates from the Canadian post-secondary institutions (with the skills as required by the province’s technology sector) and the talented skilled workers.
Here are the minimum scores required for each category in the draw held on 3rd October 2018.
