BCPNP Issues New Invitation in 11th July Draw - Akkam Overseas

BC PNP, the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program issued 241 new ITAs (Invitations to Apply) for the provincial nomination to skilled workers and graduates under its Express Entry and Skilled immigration BC Streams in a Draw held on 11th July 2018.

ITAs were issued to the candidates meeting the requirements to be eligible in the BC PNP’s Express Entry and Skills Immigration Streams. The Tech Pilot program of BC PNP is upgraded recently by modifying the requirements for the job offer for candidates in the key technology occupations list and by revising these occupations list. Based on this upgradation, candidates who are in the 29 occupations in the list now requires a full-time job offer for at least 1 year rather than just a permanent indeterminate offer which was required previously.

The primary goal of BCPNP was to attract and retain the international graduates from the Canadian post-secondary institutions (with the skills as required by the province’s technology sector) and the talented skilled workers. The tech pilot program of BC PNP was launched in 2017 and as per the latest news, this pilot program is extended till June 2019.

188 Candidates will earn an additional 600 points under CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) when invited under the Express Entry aligned streams of BC such as, “the EEBC – International Graduate, EEBC – Skilled Worker streams.” But their application for the provincial nomination must be approved.
